Edge-to-edge quilting - $.03 per square inch

For example, a queen quilt 60 inches x 80 inches = 4,800 square inches

4,800 x $.035 = $144

 Minimum charge - $50

Backing - you can supply your own, or purchase 108" wide quilt backing from our sister shop, homesewn, located conveniently next door. Backing must be 8" wider and longer than the quilt top.

Batting – you can supply your own or purchase from us.  Batting must be 8” wider and longer than the quilt top.

We use Heirloom Natural Unbleached Cotton ($12.50/yard), a non-allergenic natural product which provides exceptional softness and is designed to give a flat, traditional look and Warm & White Cotton ($16/yard), a soft and hypoallergenic batting with whitened cotton fibers.

Other batting may be available upon request.

Binding - includes trimming/squaring quilt

  • Cut, sew and press binding from provided fabric                        $.10   per linear inch
  • Attach binding that you will sew down down                                $.10 per linear inch
  • Attach binding and sew it down by hand hand                             $.40 per linear inch

  • Squaring up quilt top and backing prior to quilting                       $15 and up
